Reflexology

Reflexology involves the use of various pressure points on the feet to stimulate an effect on the nervous system and the body as a whole. In a treatment, one can expect to have these pressure points worked to produce the desired outcome. In general, reflexology can be beneficial for:

  • Stress
  • Foot Pain
  • Labour Induction
  • and more!
  • Insomnia
  • Neuropathy
  • Lymphedma

About Lorri Zimmerman RMT

From a very young age Lorri was interested in health and wellness.  She experienced debilitating migraine starting at age 12.  After trying prescription after prescription to try and alleviate the pain with no success and fearing all the side effects that were part of the medications, she discovered the power of Massage and Reflexology.

In 2009, she entered the world of Reflexology as a Practitioner, joining both the Registered Reflexology Council of Ontario (RRCO) and Grand River Reflexology Associates (GRRA); and is exploring the path of Alternative Healing.

In 2016, Lorri chose to widen her horizons and enroll in Massage Therapy School in Cambridge.  She became a Registered Massage Therapist in August 2017.  She loves how she isable to encompass Reflexology and Massage within her treatments.  She feels every treatment should be customized to fit the needs of the Individual.

In 2019, Lorri became a council member for the RRCO and was active in progressing that modality until 2022.

In her spare time, Lorri enjoys Nature and the Outdoors with her family.

Currently, Lorri is practicing out of Plattsville Natural Health Clinic in Plattsville Ontario, and out of her home-based practice in Princeton Ontario.

About Cheryl McReynolds RMT

Hello! I’m Cheryl McReynolds.  I am a registered massage therapist who graduated from the massage therapy program at Trios College in London, Ontario.  I am also a certified reflexologist with the Ontario College of Reflexology.

I have always been interested in the medical field and holistic medicine, and I am passionate in helping people reach optimal health, so I felt that becoming a massage therapist and reflexologist would be the perfect fit!

Massage therapy has many advantages including reducing stress, relieving pain and improving circulation and can also treat many conditions such as soft tissue dysfunction, migraines, tendonitis, scoliosis, TMJ disorders, arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic overuse injuries, plantar fasciitis, sports injuries, and so much more.

My goal is to provide a safe and comfortable environment while strategically tailoring treatments to each of my clients needs and preferences.  My treatment style is to treat areas of concern effectively using Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, and hydrotherapy, and to also provide a relaxing experience with an over all sense of well-being.

I have also furthered my knowledge in Lymphatic Drainage to help my clients reduce swelling and inflammation from surgeries, illnesses and conditions which will help them with pain reduction, increased immune function and improved range of motion.

Reflexology is an alternative approach to healing where I apply pressure to the soles of the feet that correspond to all parts organs and glands inside the body. This relaxing technique increases the parasympathetic system to help your body “rest and digest” to allow the body to heal naturally!

In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors at the cottage.  Whether its walking or biking or being out on the water in the boat or on the seadoos, I fully enjoy spending it with my family and friends. I am an animal lover, especially dogs and horses.  I love their therapeutic connection to the soul. I also love wine and spending time in the beautiful Niagara region exploring the various wineries down there.

My motto this year is “Relax, Refresh, Renew”. Be good to you!
