Masking is now Optional at PNHC

We are excited to announce that as of June 14, 2022 12:01am, you will no longer be required to wear a mask to enter our facility. What does this mean? Masking will be optional for patients, staff and practitioners at Plattsville Natural Health Clinic. We ask that moving forward, everyone operate with respect in individuals’ choices behind masking and not masking. If you would prefer for the practitioner you are seeing to wear a mask, please make it known upon entering the facility, and we would be happy to comply.

In regards to screening, we will no longer be actively screening patients upon entry, BUT we expect patients to reschedule their appointment if they have any symptoms of COVID-19. If you are unsure of how to proceed, please call us before your appointment and we would be happy to help you.

We are beyond grateful for the grace our patients and community have offered us over the past two years in navigating this pandemic. Thank you for your endless support, and we look forward to serving you with smiling faces (and/or smiling eyes) once again!

Masking Mandate Extended Until June 11 2022 at PNHC

The government has recently release information regarding masking mandates. Until June 11, 2022, it is required in health care settings to wear a mask (see link https://news.ontario.ca/en/release/1002098/masking-requirements-continue-in-select-indoor-settings ).

We will continue to screen patients at the door for COVID-19 as per our regulatory requirements. We appreciate our patient’s compliance and understanding of our masking and COVID-19 policies.

We know that the past 2 years have not been easy on anyone, and we are so thankful to have the support of our patients. We are all hoping that with a little more patience and perseverance, that we can make it to the finish line and that June 11 2022 will be the end of extensions. Remember, we are all in this together.

PNHC and New COVID-19 Pandemic Update

As per the Ontario government announcement on January 12, 2021 and the instituting of the “Stay-At-Home Order”, the government has asked everyone to remain at home with exceptions for essential purposes, which includes accessing health care services (including chiropractic, massage, naturopathic, and pedorthic care).

We remain open to offer the majority of our health care services during this time. We do ask, as always, that you continue to come to your appointments only if you feel well, and engage in measures to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 (wearing a mask to your visit, social distancing in office where possible, and washing/sanitizing your hands).  Remember to let us know if you will not be able to attend your appointment.

Our commitment to reducing the spread of COVID-19 remains the same, as we, as a clinic continue to operate in a safe way, which includes:

  • Cleaning and disinfecting all high contact surfaces and between every patient encounter
  • Washing and sanitizing hands
  • Requiring all practitioners and patients to wear masks at all times
  • Screening all practitioners and staff
  • Screening all patients prior to and at the time of their appointment
  • Limiting the number of individuals in the waiting area so as to comply with social distancing
  • Having practitioners wear face shields or safety glasses where possible
  • Having some of our staff work from home where possible
  • Practicing within all of our colleges scope of practice

We will continue to update you if there are any changes to practice, but at this time we remain open and able to serve you. If you do not feel comfortable physically coming to your appointment, your practitioner may be able to offer assistance virtually depending on your concerns.

If you do need support or care, please do not suffer in silence and reach out to us to book at appointment at 226-232-7665 (call or text) or contact us through the contact portion of this website.

Thank you from all of us at PNHC for your continued support, for doing your part to reduce the spread of COVID-19, and for helping our clinic to keep everyone safe. Please stay safe.

To learn more about our new member to the Plattsville Natural Health Clinic family, please read her story below:

From a very young age Lorri was interested in health and wellness.  She experienced debilitating migraine starting at age 12.  After trying prescription after prescription to try and alleviate the pain with no success and fearing all the side effects that were part of the medications, she discovered the power of Massage and Reflexology.

In 2009, she entered the world of Reflexology as a Practitioner, joining both the Registered Reflexology Council of Ontario (RRCO) and Grand River Reflexology Associates (GRRA); and has been exploring the path of Alternative Healing.

In 2016, Lorri chose to widen her horizons and enroll in Massage Therapy School in Cambridge.  She became a Registered Massage Therapist in August 2017.  In 2019, Lorri became a council member for the RRCO and is active in progressing that modality.

In her spare time, Lorri enjoys Nature and the Outdoors with her family.
